Anthony Paikin President
Since founding W|P|Osborne Executive Search in 2002, Anthony has grown the organization into a Canadian leader in the Executive Search and Real Property search industry and has built a team of professionals that bring integrity, rigor, and professionalism to every search.
Anthony has sourced industry leaders for a wide variety of organizations crossing myriad sectors and sizes from entrepreneurial owners and emerging organizations to established institutional market leaders, crown corporations and international conglomerates. Anthony has successfully completed over 250 mid-senior level searches in the areas of finance/accounting, acquisitions, land planning and development, construction, property management, asset management, plant management, operational management, leasing, human resources, and sales/marketing.
After graduating with an Honours B.A. in Political Science and Economics from The University of Western Ontario, Anthony spent 9 years as a top executive search associate at a leading North American search firm before founding W|P|Osborne Executive Search.
Anthony is a true leader, inspiring and motivating his team by reinforcing a culture of ownership and empowerment. He has established an organization that nurtures pride and a feeling that every role is extremely important to overall success. Joan Rataic-Lang Director of Research
Joan Rataic-Lang joined W|P|Osborne Executive Search in 2007 as Director of Research after a 17 year career in Law Libraries. Most recently she was Manager of Library Services at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP -- a tier 1 Canadian business law firm. Previous to that she was Library Manger at Gowlings, one of Canada’s largest leading law firms, and Librarian at Aird & Berlis.
Joan is an experienced researcher in business, financial, news and legal information using LexisNexis, Westlaw, FPInfomart and numerous other commercially available databases. Her research skills help us through the research process, especially in developing the target list and understanding the industry, keeping current with trends in the Real Property and Real Estate, and identifying opportunities in the market place. Through her career she has also developed sophisticated design, management and evaluation skills in the area of knowledge resources and systems. Joan brings this experience and knowledge to our Research practices and our internal Knowledge Management systems.
Joan has a B.A. (Honours) from Queen’s University and a Master of Library & Information Studies from McGill University, as well as a Certificate in Internet Business and Technology from University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.

Veronica Pastor Senior Consultant
Since Veronica joined W|P|Osborne Executive Search as an Associate in the spring of 2004, her consulting portfolio has ranged from mid- to senior-level searches for privately held manufacturers, public multinational asset managers, crown corporations and government agencies in real estate development. Veronica has been consistently recognized for identifying untapped talent pools, which without her insights, would not have been uncovered. Her success ratio and professional approach have been instrumental in helping her grow her practice through repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals.
Prior to joining W|P|Osborne Executive Search, Veronica held P&L responsibility for the Anglo-Canada division of a widely recognized, multinational conference business. During her six years in the executive training and development industry, Veronica built up an extensive network of contacts and recruitment expertise, personally conducting over 2000 hours of research and qualifying interviews with senior executives from all industries across Canada annually. Previously, she worked as a policy analyst at the Ontario Medical Association and as a writer in the Transnational Corporations Division of the United Nations in Geneva.
Veronica holds an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business, an Honours BA from the University of Western Ontario, and certificates from the Program on Negotiations at Harvard Law School and the University of Angers, France. She speaks fluent Spanish, English and French.
Natalia Sueia Associate
Natalia Sueia, an associate with W|P|Osborne Executive Search, brings a high level of professionalism and rigour to our business which is exemplified in each and every conversation she entertains with every potential candidate. Her passion for client service emanates from her many years in the hospitality industry where she held various senior level roles in revenue/yield management and operations for a large international hotel operator/asset manager. Prior to entering the workforce, Natalia received multiple scholarships to pursue her Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Hospitality which she completed at the University of Guelph with a student exchange program in Cannes, France. Natalia is also fluent in Spanish.

Debbie Smith Office Manager
Debbie Smith brings over 20 years of administrative experience to her position as Office Manager at W|P|Osborne Executive Search. Prior to joining W|P|Osborne Debbie held progressive administrative positions in search, real property, travel, media, and manufacturing.
Debbie’s enthusiasm, organizational skills and ability to multi-task make her a valuable asset to the W|P|Osborne team, who appreciate her true spirit of service. Debbie's dedication outside of work extends to running a children's summer camp, volunteering with children's sporting programs, and a number of other charitable endeavours.
Liz Riley Associate
Liz Riley, an associate with W|P|Osborne Executive Search, brings to our business, a refreshing and unparalleled enthusiasm for people, the human dynamic and the synergies created through the building of exceptional teams. Liz’s devotion to her practice is demonstrated best by the overwhelming number of letters of appreciation she has received from candidates and clients across the country thanking her for her exceptional levels of dedication and service.
Prior to joining W|P|Osborne, Liz held a similar role for a search firm specializing in the recruitment of senior- level finance and accounting professionals. Previously, she held the position of Accounting Manager for one of the top three Value Added Resellers (VARS) in North America, where she managed teams of accountants across Canada and the US, and served as her division’s North American representative for their SAP implementation as well as for various other systems implementations. Liz holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University.
Cindy Ko Associate
Cindy Ko, an associate with W|P|Osborne Executive Search, draws on over ten years experience in the executive search industry and her in-depth knowledge of best administration practices to ensure that W|P|Osborne continues to provide excellent service to the firm's clients and candidates.
Cindy began her career as a Research Associate with a very successful executive search firm specializing in the placement of financial and accounting professionals where she gained valuable knowledge and insight into the search process of securing talent for the firm’s client base. There she progressed to Recruitment Coordinator for one of the partners before taking on the administrative responsibility of Office Manager. Cindy built on this diverse experience across multiple organizational levels when she joined W|P|Osborne Executive Search.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from McMaster University providing an important foundation for understanding how to navigate “office politics” and form effective practices and procedures for the team.
Sandra King Associate
Sandra King, an Associate with W|P|Osborne Executive Search, draws on her public relations experience to bring enthusiasm and creativity to her work. Her passion for providing excellent client service stems from her years as an Operations Manager in the retail industry where she oversaw all media and public relations, marketing, purchasing, sales and staffing. Most recently Sandra played a key role at an Investor Relations Firm which specialized in the Natural Resources sector. There, she was responsible for the full marketing of all clients to the public, potential and current investors, as well as the financial community.
Prior to entering the workforce, Sandra graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours BA and achieved recognized success as a competitive athlete across North America. Sandra’s volunteering initiatives have led her to the Dominican Republic and Haiti where she assisted in the construction of new elementary schools.
